Just outside Cumnock is a fascinating artefact,the photograph above shows what is reputed to be a medieval "grave slab", the size would indicate that it is from a child burial. It is located near where it is said a chapel once stood. Due to the sensitive nature of this site it is felt that the exact location/locale should not be publicised. Suffice to say that this artefact is in the Cumnock locale.
